ABSTRACT

In an increasingly competitive and rapidly evolving global economy, innovation is not only a strategic advantage but a necessity for organizational sustainability. This study investigates the pivotal role of soft-skills such as emotional intelligence, critical thinking, collaboration, and effective communication as key enablers of managerial innovation and organizational performance. Adopting a qualitative methodology based on in-depth case studies and direct observation across three distinct sectors technology, services and industry, the research reveals that soft skills are not merely individual traits, but foundational drivers of collective innovation capacity. The findings show that organizations which actively cultivate and integrate soft skills into their managerial and team practices demonstrate higher adaptability, improved problem-solving, and enhanced team dynamics, all of which contribute to successful innovation outcomes. By providing real-world evidence from innovative companies, this study highlights the strategic importance of investing in soft skills development to foster a resilient, creative, and high-performing organizational culture. The research also offers actionable insights for leaders and policymakers seeking to align talent development with innovation strategies.
